Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately rinse eyes thoroughly with running water while
holding the eyelids open at least for 15 minutes, remove
contact lenses, protect uneffected eye.
ophthalmic treatment necessary.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing; rinse contaminated skin with
water using soap if available.
Contact medical help if irritations occur.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Clean mouth with water, drink afterwards plenty of water,
obtain medical attention.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Fire-fighting measures
alcohol foam.
Product arising from burning: In case of fire: carbon monoxide, nitrous gases, sulphurous
oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Safety goggles and disposable gloves must be worn and also a
breathing apparatus or other protection equipment to ensure
respiratory protection.
Accidental release measures
in dry form (wearing suitable protective equipment) in
marked plastic-lined containers and incinerate in the site
solid waste incinerator which is specifically licenced for
that propose (in accordance with local regulations).
Handling and storage
good personal hygiene practises. Avoid dust generation.
suitable respiratory equipment (mask with filter P3) must be
worn if there is any potential for exposure to dust. Safety
goggles, gloves of nitrile rubber and suitable protective
clothing must be worn.
For preventive skin protection, measures according to a
valid skin protection plan are used.
Safety (emergency) showers for eyes and body are available
at adequate distance; tghe place where the emergency tools
are installed are well labelled.
Precautionary measures must be taken against static
discharges. Avoid sources of ignition.
Avoid contact to skin and eyes.
Storage: Keep dry at room temperature in sealed containers secured
from falling down.
Outside the containers there is no contamination with the
product; the warehouses are subject to recurring inspections
by external experts approved by the authority.
Protect from excessive temperatures.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Fibre drums with PE-inliner.

Special provisions / remarks
- Remarks:
- Transport: Not classified as dangerous for transport.
Transport only in marked containers.
For the internal transportation:
Use original containers or other unbreakable and correctly
labelled containers. Keep containers tightly closed and
secure by suitable measures against falling down.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: No hydrolysis, no reaction with water.
Dust explosion: In general the possibility of explosion of dusty organic
substances exists.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
scrubbing and emission gas control. Scrubber water to be
treated in a WWTP.
