Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial
respiration. Get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of
water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if
irritation occurs.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if
irritation develops.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical
personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person. Get medical attention if symptoms appear.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Not available
Protective equipment: Positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)
and full turnout gear.
Accidental release measures
Immediately contact emergency personnel. Keep unnecessary
personnel away. Use suitable protective equipment and follow
all fire fighting procedures.
Methods for cleaning up:
If emergency personnel are unavailable, vacuum or carefully
scoop up spilled materials and place in appropriate
container for disposal. Avoid creating dusty conditions and
prevent wind dispersal. Minimize contact of spilled material
with soils to prevent run off to surface waterways.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of or treat all spill residues including
contaminated soils following all applicable regulations.
Handling and storage
Avoid breathing dust/vapours. Avoid contact with eyes, skin
and clothing. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Exposure controls:
Open handling must be limited. Use a chemical fume hood,
ventilated enclosure or glove box. Wear safety glasses,
impervious gloves and an approved, properly fitted HEPA
filter cartridge respirator, or a respirator of greater
protection.
When handling compounds in solution, a cartridge appropriate
for the solvent must also be used.
Dispose outer garments when there is the potential for
contact with the material.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Keep container in a cool,
well-ventilated area.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is packaged in either plastic liners contained
in fibre drums or in large reinforced bags (called FIBCs).
The liners or FIBCs are compacted and packaged on-site under
controlled conditions and then sent off site for
incineration. The fibre drums which are not exposed to the
substance are crushed and sent off site for incineration.
