One key study is available for each of the following endpoints concerning the acute toxicity of Diisopropylbenzene hydroperoxide :

- the acute toxicity to Danio rerio exposed with semi-static conditions (daily renewal) for duration of 96h was assessed according to the OECD 203 Guideline and GLP requirements (Chastenet, 2014). The 96h-LC50 was determined as 11.2 mg/L.

- the acute toxicity of the test item to Daphnia magna was evaluated according the 84/449/EWG method with static conditions. The 48h-EC50 was determined as 48h-EC50 = 8.2 mg/L.

- in a 72-hour acute toxicity study, algae Desmodesmus subspicatus were exposed to test item in accordance with the European Guideline 88/302. Results were 72h-ErC50 > 11.5 mg/L and 72h-ErC10 of 7.2 mg/L.

- the toxicity to microorganisms was estimated in a test according to the OECD guideline 209. EC50 and EC10 were determined to be respectively 46.7 mg/L and 10.6 mg/L for total respiration.
