Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

5.1.2 Hydrolysis:

For pH 4 and pH 7 no abiotic degradation of the test item was observed in aqueous buffer solutions with acetonitrile as organic solvent additive (30 % v/v) at 50 °C. For pH 9 a slight degradation less than 10 % was observed. It can be assumed that the test item is also stable at 25 °C.

5.2.1 Biodegradation in water:

Within 28 days, a degradation rate of 9 % was determined. The substance is considered to be "Not Readily Biodegradable".

5.2.2 / 5.2.3 / 5.3.1 Biodegradation in water and sediment / Biodegradation in soil:

In accordance with REACH Annex XI, degradation simulation testing in water and/or sediment does not need to be conducted as from the chemical safety assessment it can be concluded that there is no risk for the aquatic compartment. There is no waste water and no introduction of the substance in the aquatic compartment from manufacture or use of the substance and, therefore, degradation simulation testing is not necessary.

5.3.1 Bioaccumulation:

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the bioaccumulation in aquatic species study does not need to be conducted as the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation as reflected by the log Kow of 1.4.

5.4.1Adsorption/desorption:

An adsorption coefficient (log Koc) in the range of 2.5 to 4.4 was determined at pH 6 and 40°C. The result can be expected to be equal at 25 °C.
