Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove victim to the fresh air. If still having difficulty
breathing, seek medical attention.
Keep victim at rest.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.
If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing.
Rinse with plenty of water.
If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: In case of large amounts, let victim vomit and rinse the
mouth with water.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: All types of fire extinguishers are suitable.
Product arising from burning: COx, NOx.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Normal equipment when fighing chemical fires, including
oxygen mask, face protection and gloves.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid dusting. When necessary cover the spilled material
with foam in order to prevent displacement by wind or
draught. Sweep and shovel spill into plastic (lined) drums
and identify for chemical waste disposal via appropriate
corporate procedures.
Dispose of contaminated cloths as hazardous waste.
Handling and storage
Handling: Standard good house keeping rules should be obeserved.
Avoid ingestion, inhalation and contact with the skin, eyes
and clothing. Use adequate ventilation and protective
clothing, including dust filter respirator, gloves and
goggles.
Storage: Store dry and in the dark at room temperature.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance is delivered in special containers.
