Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Short-term toxicity to fish

In an acute toxicity test with zebrafish Danio rerio, the 96 h-EC50 was determined to be greater than 61 mg/L.

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates

In an acute immobilisation test with Daphnia magna (STRAUS), the 48 h-EC50 value of the test substance was found to be 60.6 mg/L.

Toxicity to Algae

The 72h-ErC50 was determined to be 109 mg/L, the 72h-NOEC was determined to be 80 mg/L and the 72h-ErC10 was determined to be 94.1 mg/L in a study conducted on the fresh algae Desmodesmus subspicatus.

Toxicity to microorganisms

According to the ECHA Guidance document R7b, no further test on the toxicity to microorganisms has to be conducted if the toxicity control in a ready biodegradability test shows no inhibitory effects on microorganisms. As the toxicity control in the OECD 301 F (1992) Biodegradability test showed no inhibition of the microbial activity at a substance concentration of 30 mg/L, no further test is necessary to evaluate the respiration inhibition of activated sludge. The concentration used in the toxicity control (30 mg/L) can be used as NOEC value.
