Justification:

Assessment of PBT/vPvB Properties has been conducted in accordance with the guidance given in Annex XIII of Regulation 1907/2006 (as amended by Commission Regulation No 253-2011 of 15 March 2011). The substance is not considered to be a PBT or a vPvB substance.

The substance is not readily biodegradable, however, it is hydrolytically unstable, and is expected to hydrolyse to form 1-octadecanol, pentaerythritol and phosphoric acid. There are no data available on hydrolysis half-lives therefore the substance is considered to be 'P not vP'.

Based on QSAR modelling, the BCF value for the test substance is estimated to be 3.162 L/kg ww therefore the substance is considered to be 'not B/vB'.

The substance is only classified as Aquatic Chronic 4 according to the CLP Regulation therefore is not considered to be 'T'.
