Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based on long-term (chronic) toxicity study data, the product is very likely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The long-term (chronic) toxicity towards aquatic invertebrates was assessed in a GLP study conducted according to OECD guideline 211. Water accomodated fractions of the compound were used as test concentration groups. The single concentrations groups were prepared separately (differential loading) by directly adding test substanc to test medium at the specified loading rate. The daphnids were exposed to loading rates of 0, 0.625, 0.125, 205, 5.0 and 10 mg/L. The test was conducted as semi-static test with a water renewal 3 times per week and a total exposure duration of 22 d. Due to the low water solubility of the test substance and because it is an UVCB an analytical method for the qantitative determination of the test substance in the test media could not be developed. Mortality was the most sensistive endpoint determined in this study. The NOEC was determined to be 2.5 mg/L. there was no significant effect on reproduction at loading rates <= 2.5 mg/L.
