ca. 0.001 g/L
Temp.:
20 °C
Remarks on result:
other: Incubation and pH not available
Remarks:
Incubation and pH not available

Although the preliminary test indicated that the column solution method should have been used (i.e preliminary test result was less than 10 mg/l), the large volumes required for the sample recovery procedure (about 1 litre) meant this was not possible. The flask method was therefore used instead. The amount of interference observed in the sample and blank chromatograms was considered to be due to the several evaporation steps within the extraction procedure used, i.e. any minor impurities present were considered alongside the sample. The slight variance between the results obtained was also considered to be due to this large concentration step.

Conclusions:
The water solubility of the test material Sylvalite® RE 80 HP was determined to be 0.000609 g/L of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5°C.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of the test material Sylvalite® RE 80 HP was determined using the flask method, Method 105 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.

The water solubility was determined to be 0.000609 g/L of solution at 20.0 ± 0.5°C, under the condition of the test.
