Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature of the substance was determined to be 365 °C at 1013 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
365 °C

Additional information

Two studies were conducted. One study determined the self-ignition temperature at 1013 hPa of propargyl alcohol to be 365 °C. Another study determined the self-ignition temperature at 1013 hPa to be 330 °C. The GESTIS database reported the self-ignition temperature of propargyl alcohol also to be 365 °C at 1013 hPa. The result of the recent study which is 365 °C at 1013 hPa was chosen as key parameter for the self-ignition temperature.
