Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
The test substance is a cream coloured solid with no characteristic odour. A melting point of 71.9-74.3°C was determined using the capillary method and 74.7°C using the photocell detection method according to OECD Guideline 102. A boiling point of the test substance was not observed prior to its decomposition point (342°C) when tested at normal atmospheric pressure. Density of 1.4 g/cm3 at 20°C, was measured using the pycnometer method in accordance with OECD Guideline 109. The vapour pressure, 0.0034 mPa at 20°C, was calculated from determined vapour pressures at 40-50°C using the gas saturation method in accordance with OECD Guideline 104. The partition coefficient, Log Kow, 3.68 at 20°C, was determined using the shake-flask method according to OECD Guideline 107. Water solubility of 3.25 mg/L at 20°C, was determined using the shake flask method according to OECD Guideline 105. Particle size distribution was conducted using laser scattering/diffraction in accordance with ISO 13320. The median diameter was 203.9 µm. A surface tension of 71.1 at 20°C was determined using the ring method in accordance with OECD Guideline 115. The test substance was not flammable in a test following EU Method A.10. No ignition was detected before the sample melted, as indicated by an endotherm at approximately 72°C in an auto-flammability test conducted according to EU Method A.16. The dissociation constant of the test substance has been calculated to be less than 1. The substance has no groups associated with explosive properties and is not oxidising based results from a study conducted according to EU Method A.17.
