Conclusion on classification

1,3-Glycerol dimethacrylate is readily biodegradable in OECD 301 F test and based on log Pow 2.05 bioaccumulation is not not assumed. Acute aquatic toxicity data are available for all three trophic levels and are in the range of 10 -100 mg/l (LC50 fish (93h): 43.2 mg/l, EC50 Daphnia mangna (48h): 80 mg/l, EC50 Algae (72h): 64 mg/l) .

Chronic data are only available for algae.NOEC algae (72h): 20 mg/l.

Based on these informations Glycerol 1,3 dimethacrylate has not to be classified for environmental hazards.
