Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No quantitative data is available. Based on the molecular weight between about 200 and 300 and based on the chemical structure, both the mono- and the distyrenated phenol constituent are assumed to be potentially bioavailable by the oral route and relatively less through the skin. They are expected to be metabolised including conjugation reactions and be eliminated via urine and bile/faeces. Bioaccumulation potential is considered to be low (see as supportive evidence: Bioaccumulation and depuration in fish following feeding, CSR Chapter 4.3.1. and IUCLID Sect. 5.3.1).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Bioaccumulation potential:
low bioaccumulation potential
