Conclusions:
The acute toxicity of the test substance to aquatic algae has been determined in a test with Scenedesmus subspicatus (new name: Desmodesmus subspicatus) according to OECD Guideline 201. The EC50 (72h) was > 46.9 mg/L and the NOEC (72h) = 46.9 mg/L (based on growth rate). Hence, it can be stated that there is no toxicity in the range of the water solubility (insoluble) of the test substance. Therefore, the test substance is considered not to be harmful to aquatic algae.
