First-aid measures

EYES
Wash eyes immediately with large amounts of water for at least 15-20 minutes.
SKIN
Wash with soap or mild detergent and large amounts of water until no evidence of chemical remains (at least 15-20 minutes). Get medical attention immediately.
INHALATION
Remove from exposure area to fresh air immediatery. Perform artificial respiration if necessary. Get medical attention immediately.
INGESTION
If vomiting occurs, keep head lower than hips to help prevent aspiration.

Fire-fighting measures

SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
Dry chemical, carbon dioxide (CO2), water spray or regular foam.
FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT
Wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent skin and eye contact in fire situations.
UNUSUAL HAZARDS
Under fire conditions, toxic and irritating fumes may be emitted. Dust-air mixtures may ignite or explode.
SPECIFIC METHODS OF FIREFIGHTING
Move container from fire area if you can do it without risk. Use agents suitable for type of surrounding fire. Avoid breathing hazardous vapors, keep upwind.

Accidental release measures

PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not breathe vapor or dust. Remove all sources of ignition. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Do not flush into surface water, sanitary sewer or ground water system.
CLEAN UP INSTRUCTIONS
Shut off all sources of ignition. Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, carefully sweep up material and place in suitable labeled containers for disposal. Sweep up and place in suitable clean, dry containers for reclamation or later disposal. Do not flush spilled material into sewer. Keep unnecessary people away.

Handling and storage

HANDLING
Use appropriate personal protection equipment. Avoid eye, skin and clothing contact. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid creating a dusting situation. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Prevent buildup of static electricity. All equipment should be properly grounded.
STORAGE

Wear working clothes, closed footwear and protective gloves (Butyl or nitrile rubber).
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION
Effective dust mask.
ENGINEERING CONTROLS
Use local exhaust to minimise dusting. Use mechanical ventilation for general area control.
GENERAL HYGIENE CONSIDERATIONS
Wash thoroughly after handling. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not eat, drink, chew gum, use tobacco products, or apply cosmetics in work areas.

Stability and reactivity

STABILITY
Stable under normal temperatures and pressures.
CONDITIONS TO AVOID
High temperatures, heat, open flames, static electricity and other sources of ignition.
INCOMPATIBLE SUBSTANCES
Strong oxidizing agents.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS
Thermal decomposition products may include toxic oxides of carbon.
