Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The toxicity of 2-propylheptyl acrylate to Danio rerio was tested in a GLP study according to OECD guideline 203. 7 zebra fish were exposed to the test item in a static test for 96 hours at nominal concentrations of 0 and 100 mg/L. No mortality or toxic signs were observed. The LC50 (96 h) was estimated to be > 0.31 mg/L (measured) since the saturation concentration could not be reliably determined. The determined water solubility is 0.2 mg/L, therefore 2-propylheptyl acrylate shows no toxic effects in the range of water solubility. [BASF SE 2009]
