Description of key information

According to Annex XI 1 a study can be waived when it can be argued that such a study is not scientifically justified. The testing of this substance for dissociation is not scientifically justified because the substance does not contain ionisable groups based on its structure. Therefore it can be concluded that no dissociation is to be expected under naturally relevant pH conditions. To support this chemical expert judgment a calculation with a QSAR method of the SPARC software is included. SPARC calculates a: pKa of -5, using the Cas no. 81786-75-6.
