Description of key information
The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of substance was determined in a HPLC screening test according to OECD TG 121 and in compliance with GLP (NOTOX B.V., 2011). A methanol/water solution (55/45 v/v) was applied on a Hypersil BDS-CN column. All solutions were analysed with HPLC and a photodiode array detector. The log k’ values of reference substances were plotted against the known log Koc values. The log Koc value for the test substance was calculated by substituting its mean log k’ in the calibration curve. Under the conditions of the test, the log Koc of the substance was determined at 3.1 (equivalent Koc = 1259 L/kg).
