Conclusion on classification

The registration substance is readily biodegraded and has a very low potential for bioaccumulation & biomagnification based on a calculated Log Kow >14 (see REACH Guidance R11. Appendix 11.1 -Annex 1).

Acute WAF tests were carried out for Fish, Daphnia and Algae at different substance loadings. Up to the water solubility of the registration substance of 3 mg/L at 20 deg C no effects were observed. Based on these facts it can be concluded

Short-term effects

DSD 67/648/EEC                                  no environmental classification required

CLP 2nd ATP 2011/286/EU                  no environmental classfication required

Long-term (chronic) effects

DSD 67/648/EEC                                  no environmental classification required

CLP 2nd ATP 2011/286/EU                  no environmental classfication required
