In IUCLID Chapter 6.1 Endpoint Summary the available toxicity data for the aquatic compartment are given. No hazard was identified for fish, daphnia, algae and microorganisms. Based on these findings it can be assumed that also in the terrestrial compartment no hazards will be identified and terrestrial toxicity studies are not warranted. In addition lipids like the registration substance are rapidly metabolised in soil by lipases to glycerol and fatty acids being natural compounds.

Due to the ability to readily degrade in combination with the very high adsorption potential of the substance, exposition in the environment is unlikely. The substance will be degraded in water phase and digester of the STP.
